Start Menu> All Programs> ArcGIS Folder> ArcGIS Administratorģ Click on “Authorize now” to start the authorization windowĤ Choose the 2nd option: “I have already installed the software and need to authorize additional extensions”.ĥ Select ‘Authorize with esri using internet’ and click on Next if you have an internet connection (otherwise you can contact our helpdesk for the procedure without internet).ħ Select the type of organization you are working for, your sector and title.Ĩ Do not enter information (because you do not have a new license code / authorization number) and click Next immediately.ĩ Choose the extension you want to test for 60 days (for example 3D Analyst).ġ0 A message will alert you if the extension can be authorized.ġ1 Check the “Authorization” folder in the ArcGIS Administrator for the correct authorization for the license and the expiration date.ġ2 Launch ArcMap and click the Customize tab> Extensions to activate the extension that you want to test.
